FAQs

What is a presale?

Presales with a pre-determined LE size (LE=Limited Edition I.e. the total number of pins being made) will have a stated number of pins that are available in the presale. Most presales will be be public, unless otherwise specified (ex. group presale). Public presales give an opportunity to everyone to purchase the pin during a presale period or until they are sold out.

Shipping Information

Shipping used is USPS, First-Class Mail.

Shipping rates are as follows:
US: $5

Canada: $14

EU & Other International: $18

Orders will be shipped to the address identified in your transaction. Please be sure it is the correct address before paying. Customs forms for international orders will accurately reflect the purchase prices of the items.

If you have purchased a presale and your address changes, please notify me as soon as possible. I will ask for address changes before shipping presale pins, but I will not be issuing refunds for pins that were sent to the wrong address, at the fault of the buyer.

What happens when I buy into a presale?

By purchasing a pin during presale, you are guaranteed first access to a pin that is going to be created. The presale payments fund the pin production. When the pin is completed, all presale buyers will receive a Standard Grade pin. Presale pricing is also lower than the in-hand pricing for Standard Grade pins. Your pins will also be shipped and on their way to you before in-hand pins are put up for public sale.

How do you grade pins?

All enamel pins are made by hand, which will result in some variation between pins and imperfections.

My pin categories are as follows:

Standard Grade: These are the best pins of the batch, but still may include minor imperfections, which are generally only visible from an angle (ex. light scuffs or slight under-filled enamel areas). Due to the nature of handmade items, no pin is flawless, and each batch is graded on how the batch was received as a whole.

Minor Flawed: Larger or multiple imperfections visible from normal view (ex. small scratches or minor screen printing issues)

Major Flawed: Larger and more noticeable flaws of any kind. Major Flawed pins may also include more noticeable flaws to main features oof the pin (ex. face flaws).

Please be aware that I do not consider flaws on the backs or sides of pins when grading, as they are rarely seen when displayed or worn.

How long does production take?

Production can take anywhere from 2-6 months. Production times will vary from pin to pin based on complexity of the design, the number of colors being used, and the special effects that go into making a pin. I will be posting process updates as I receive them from the manufacturer. Please do not purchase a presale spot of you do not want to wait for the production of the pin.

Do you issue refunds?

Presales: Please be aware that all presale funds are used exclusively to fund the pin production. Refunds will not be given on presale transactions due to changing your mind. Please be thoughtful when purchasing a presale spot.

In-Hand Sales: If your request is made before your order has shipped, in-hand purchases can be refunded, minus a small transaction fee.
