Note About Grading: All enamel pins are made by hand, which will result in variations or imperfections. I DO NOT GRADE THE SIDES AND BACKS, as they are rarely seen when on display. I grade based on what is visible from an arm’s length away, as bigger pins are typically enjoyed on a pin board. My pin categories are as follows:
Minor Flawed: Larger or multiple imperfections visible from normal view (multiple scratches or minor screen printing alignment issues). May include areas of over-filled or under-filled enamel, small patches of enamel discoloration, small air bubbles or pin pricks, noticeable flaws at an angle etc.
Major Flawed: Larger and more noticeable flaws of any kind. This category may also include more noticeable flaws to main features of the pin, including face flaws. May include any of the above flaws in addition to plating flaws, larger areas of translucent enamel overfill, larger or multiple under-filled areas, large areas of pin pricks, minor face flaws (underfill under eyes), etc.
No Grade: Larger and more noticeable flaws than Major Flawed grade pins. This category WILL INCLUDE noticeable face flaws. There is no missing enamel on these pins.
