Note About Grading: All ornaments are made by hand, which will result in variations or imperfections. I DO NOT GRADE THE SIDES AND BACKS, as they are rarely seen when on display. I grade based on what is visible from an arm’s length away, as these ornaments are typically enjoyed on a Christmas Tree. My ornament categories are as follows:
Standard: These ornaments are the best in the batch, but may have minor imperfections (ex. light scuffs or scratches, very minor screen printing imperfections, or slightly under-filled enamel areas, flaws that can only be seen at an angle or in certain direct light.) May include areas of patches of plating discoloration or uneven plating. This is expected, and antique plating was chosen for this reason as it fits the HR Era. The translucent enamel may also contain small air bubbles or small bits of debris, small scratches, uneven translucent enamel, or overfilled/underfilled translucent enamel etc.
Flawed: Larger and more noticeable flaws of any kind. This category may also include more noticeable flaws to main features of the pin, including larger or more noticeable scratches, larger or more inconsistencies in antique plating not consistent with overall batch, significant overfill of translucent enamel, translucent enamel spots where it should not be, or translucent enamel flaws caused by uneven curing. These products are sold at a discount.
