All enamel pins are made by hand, which will result in variations or imperfections.

I DO NOT GRADE THE SIDES AND BACKS, as they are rarely seen when on display.

My pin categories are as follows:

Standard: These pins are the best in the batch, but may have minor imperfections (ex. light scuffs or scratches, minor screen printing imperfections, or slightly over-filled enamel areas, flaws that can be seen at an angle or in certain direct light.) Most flaws with the batch were small scratches or tiny dots on the light colored enamel. Most flaws are hardly noticeable from an arms length away.

Minor Flawed: Larger or multiple noticeable imperfections visible from normal view (multiple noticeable scratches, areas of overfilled enamel, or minor screen printing alignment issues). May include loose posts. Most flaws with the batch were with polishing scratches on the light colored enamel. There may be very minor face flaws that can be seen when inspecting up close. Flaws may be more noticeable from an arms length away.

Major Flawed: Larger and more noticeable flaws of any kind (deeper scratches, pin holes, major screen printing alignment issues, flawed screen print, etc.). This category may also include more noticeable flaws to main features of the pin, including face flaws. May include loose posts.
